Who We Are
Welcome to RBCI. You can visit us online at https://rbci.com.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the information shown in the form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent. This helps us detect and prevent spam.
We may use an anonymized string (or hash) from your email to check with the Gravatar service if you have a profile image associated with your email. You can view Gravatar’s privacy policy here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile image may be publicly visible alongside your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the site, we recommend removing any embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Other visitors could extract this data from your uploaded images.
Cookies
If you leave a comment, you can opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies for convenience. These will last for one year. When visiting our login page, a temporary cookie may be set to check whether your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.
Upon login, we’ll use cookies to remember your login and display preferences. Login cookies remain for two days, and display preferences last for a year. Choosing “Remember Me” will keep you logged in for two weeks. Logging out removes these cookies. If you create or update content, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data—just the article ID—and expires after one day.
Embedded Content
Our content may include embedded materials (like videos, images, articles, etc.). These behave just as they would if you visited the original hosting site. Such sites may collect data about you, use cookies, or embed third-party tracking, especially if you are logged into their service while viewing the content on our site.
Data Sharing
If you request a password reset, your IP address may be included in the reset email as a security precaution.
Data Retention
Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely to support automated comment approvals. If you register for an account on our site, we store the personal information you provide in your profile. You can view, edit, or delete your personal data at any time—except your username. Admins may also view and update user details.
Your Rights
If you have an account or have left comments, you can request a copy of the personal data we store about you. You may also ask us to delete your personal data, except for information we must retain for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where Your Data Goes
Visitor comments may be checked using an automated spam detection service.
